Günther Landsteiner is Senior Researcher at MEDIACULT-International Research Institute for Media, Communication and Cultural Development Vienna, Austria.

His research on Human-Computer Interaction and the dicipline of Usability Engineering comprises the two editions of Usability - Services and Providers. European Usability Catalogue (ed. by multimedia business austria, Vienna: Ritt 1999 and 2000), the second edition presenting his article "Quality Perspectives on Human-Computer Interfaces and the Information Society".
