Don Ihde is Distinguished Professor for Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, Stony Brook University New York, USA. He holds a Ph.D. from Boston University. Current Research: Interests develop around both philosophy of science and technology, with special recent interests in imaging technologies. In addition, work on intercultutral perception and plural cultural patterns form part of the research interest. Ihde's publications include: Postphenomenology: Essays in the Postmodern Context.
